Hot diggity it’s chilli time!

OK the weather is chilly, snow is on the way – how can we stay warm? Why not try one of our extra special chilli oils?  We also have a mixed herb oil as well to pep up your winter cooking.  Guaranteed to make you glow inside even though the weather outside is freezing…

Have maslin pan will travel…

I have been putting my maslin pan to good use by creating some wonderful winter fruit concoctions – winter fruit compote ( a delicious melody of dried figs, prunes and apricots, and figpote made with fresh figs steeped in a lovely honey syrup.)  Both of these would be great for a Christmas stanby or even as a dessert in their own right- delicious with ice cream, cream, fromage frais or home made custard…yum yum.

I will now be at several more markets over the Christmas period – West Ealing have an additional market on Weds 22nd Dec 9.00am till 1.00pm and there will be a new Duck Pond craft market in Richmond on Sunday 19th Dec and the last Sunday in November – this will be on the same site as the Farmers’ Market in Richmond – my figpote and other jams, preserves and chutneys will be on sale there.

Looking forward to seeing you at a market soon….

Christmas update

Christmas has come early to the Old Bakery this year.  Delightful spicy, fruity smells have been wafting around the house over the last few weeks as I finalise the final Chrimbo selection for my market stall.

In order to help you all decide what you might like to try I have created a page on the blog called Christmas is coming…you can find all my Christmas goodies there with the price list…pictures to follow shortly.

Happy holidays! Peace on Earth, Goodwill to all men and women.
